Student Council
The purpose of the Chicopee High Student Council shall be:
1. To serve as the general representative of the student body.
2. To improve upon the existing relationships between the student body, the faculty, the administration, and hte community.
3. To initiate activities and programs which advance school spirit and improve the welfare of the student body.
4. To assist in giving the student body a thorough understanding of school policy.
5. To conduct all student elections.

Student Advisory Council
Typical Regional S.A.C. activities include:
1. Writing, filing, and lobbying for legislation which directly relates to students.
2. Drafting of recommendations for curriculum innovation.
3. Sponsoring of regional student conferences.
4. Initializing local school projects for improvement of student involvement.
Meetings are held monthly at Northampton High School. State meetings are held monthly at the MA Board of Ed. building in Malden.

Typical City S.A.C. activities include:
1. Drafting recommendations for curriculum innovation.
2. Drafting recommendations for innovation of student life in Chicopee schools.
3. Attendance at ALL S.A.C. meetings at the School Board is MANDITORY.
