The math team tried their hardest this year to be on top, but they fell just short. This year's team had few members but they all gave it their all. The team consisted of (Seniors:) Brian Beach, Jacquelyn Budz, Eric Fredette, Alex Kieu, Brian Reilly; (Juniors:) Micheal Bigos, Matt Lach, Andrew Boissonnault; (Sophomores:) Megan Fimbel, Steven Kobierski, A.J. Reome; (Freshman:) Barbara Meaden, Michael Millard, and Tyler Healy. The math team participated in many events. Their meets are held on the second Tuesday of the month, between the months of October and February. The math team travels from school to school, and at the conclusion of each meet, food is presented. Practices are held in room 425 on Thursdays. Mrs. Kellner is the coordinator for the Math Team.

The math team is always looking for new members. As a mathlete, you are allowed to compete against other schools in your math skills. If you are up to a challenge I suggest that you try it, but only if you are up to it, because it is very difficult to live up to the rank of mathlete. Each student competes in three areas: Arithmetic and Number Theory, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Coordinate Geometry, and Trigonometry. If you are interested, talk to any of the members.
